ABOUT US

Employment breaks the cycle of poverty, gives identity and raises self-worth.
EPiC (Enterprise Partnerships in Communities) is a charity based in Leicestershire, founded for the purpose of forming and providing practical services, for example car washing and painting & decorating, that will employ people who have barriers to gaining employment.
The functioning of EPiC is based on two principles:
1) Paid work for the grassroots: contrary to common practice, the people who help in management, training, and mentoring are all volunteers. This means that all the donations and income will go towards paying the employees and the necessary overheads of running EPiC services.
2) Wellbeing support: EPiC employees will be paired with a mentor to support them with their mental wellbeing and to provide input on community values.

EPiC is working in collaboration with St Barnabas (STB), the Good Shepherd Church and Emmanuel Church, all based in Loughborough.
